Kringle Holiday Market now open in downtown Lansing

Downtown Lansing Inc. is bringing a brand new Kringle Holiday Market to the area

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — If you’re looking for a fun event that’s outdoors, it’s often difficult to find one in the winter. But, now, mid-Michigan residents have an option for a festive way to shop outdoors this holiday season.

Downtown Lansing Inc. is bringing a brand new Kringle Holiday Market to the Lansing, Michigan, area. The market, which opened on Thursday (Nov. 17), will be located in downtown Lansing at Reutter Park. The grand opening featured a ribbon cutting with Mayor Andy Schor, live music from the Lansing Symphony Orchestra and more entertainment.

The Kringle Holiday Market will be open through Dec. 17 on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The market will offer food trucks, holiday shopping, winter activities and a variety of different, local vendors. Vendors will have a plenty of items on sale, from toys to ornaments to baked goods.

The market will also feature an ice skating rink. The Capital Area District Library will lend out skates free of charge.

The Kringle Holiday Market’s official hours of operation are Thursdays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Fridays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
